The Olde English Bulldogge is NOT an AKC English Bulldog, but a healthy alternative. It is a medium-sized, powerfully built, active, mastiff-type dog, which can take 2+ years to fully develop. The Olde English Bulldogge resembles the English Bulldog in appearance, however the breed is based on the dogs from the bullbaiting days, to which most bull breeds today owe their ancestry.
They are bred for health, and used in pulling and agility competition, as well as obedience, and as therapy dogs. They are determined and courageous, yet friendly and non aggressive making them wonderful, trustworthy family companions.
